FAQ concerning INGUN test probes
Question and Answer
Ｑ What kind of company is INGUN?
Ａ INGUN is a manufacturer of test probes and fixtures that was founded in Konstanz, an industrial city near the southwest border of Germany in 1971. In addition to conventional test probes, the company's product lineup consists of more than 10,000 types, including special probes such as those for high current and high frequencies. Reliability and a track record cultivated for approximately forty years since its founding are evidence that INGUN is one of the world's leading manufacturers. All of INGUNs probes and sockets are RoHS-compliant.
Ｑ What is the difference between the English catalog and Japanese catalog?
Ａ The English catalog contains all of the more than 10,000 types of probes handled by INGUN. The Japanese catalog focuses on standard products that are frequently orders by customers in Japan. The Japanese catalog also includes unique Japanese probes and sockets jointly developed with INGUN which are handled by us alone.

Ｑ Is there a tool to clean the tips of test probes?
Ａ Yes, there is. EQOmat is a new cleaner specially designed for removing dirt from the tip of test
probes. It cleans of flux and oxide film to eliminate the cause of poor contact of the probe.
It is an indispensable item for keeping test probes in good service condition for an extended period

By using an FCT tool, for example, you can dramatically shorten time required for testing/inspection connected manually by cable. Can be used for all sorts of applications including connectors such as FAKRA, HSD and UFL, PCB layout, and audio/video terminals. Handles 200 MHz, 700 MHz, 2 GHz, 4 GHz, 6 GHz and 12 GHz frequencies. Inner probe is replaceable to facilitate maintenance.
Ａ No there aren't, but if there is a certain commercial dealer you would like to purchase from, let
